The Development of Using the Postpositional Morpheme “Josa” in the Spontaneous Language of 2-3 Year-Old Children

Objectives: The Josa, which is a Korean grammatical morpheme that indicates relationship to the clause or conveys more specific meaning, an important indicator in grammar development early childhood. purpose of this study was examine Josa use spontaneous language children childhood.Methods: Fifty young aged 2;6-3;11 years participated study. participants were classified into three age groups 6- month interval; late 2-year, 3-year, and 3-year groups. Spontaneous samples comprised 50 utterances collected during conversations between examiner with books pictures. number total (NTJ), different (NDJ), NTJ NDJ by subcategory measured utterances. An ANOVA multiple regression analysis conducted.Results: 2-year group demonstrated significantly less compared 3- year respectively. Among significant differences found adverbial, conjunctive, auxiliary adverbial conjunctive Josa. Multiple (39.2%), (8.6%), (8%) explained age.Conclusion: confirmed 2 3. results help us understand have implications for assessment intervention.
